"Mommy, Where Were You?" is a book of hope for all those who have suffered the shame, loneliness, and isolation of abandonment and abuse. Migsie's story of her own healing, as well as the many women included in her book, shines a light in the darkness for those of us who so desperately search for healing in the face of overwhelming pain.
My heart hurt for the stories of little girls who had absent mothers for different reasons. I could relate to so many of the stories, and am thankful that I forgave my own Mom years ago. Now, if I could forgive myself for my own mistakes as a mother.
